Almost everything we make can be made yours. A name or a date on a heart. A monogram in script or block, front and back. A stone you already love, set into a new ring. We have done this for clients and their families since 1999, and it is still our favorite part of what we do.
Three ways to make it yours
Engraved keepsakes
Hearts, discs and lockets engraved with a name, a date, a monogram or a short message, in script or block lettering. Most can be engraved front and back.
Heirloom pendants
Our heart, disc and rectangle pendants come in four sizes, framed in diamonds, sapphires or emeralds, with a face that is meant to be written on.
Signature rings and one-of-a-kind pieces
Made to order in 14k or 18k gold with the stones you choose, or designed around a stone you already own.
How it works
1. Tell us who it is for
Email, call, or use the form below. Send a photo of a piece you love, a stone you have, or just the idea. There is no wrong way to start.
2. We design it together
We will suggest a piece, a size and a stone, show you the lettering in script or block, and confirm the price before anything is made.
3. We make it, by hand
Most engraved and made-to-order pieces take about three to four weeks. Fully bespoke pieces take six to eight. If you have a date in mind, tell us; a rush is often possible.
Can I bring my own stone?
Yes, and we love when you do. A grandmother's sapphire, a stone from a ring you no longer wear, something you found on a trip. Send us a photo and anything you know about it (an appraisal or a certificate helps), and we will design a setting around it and tell you what it will cost before we begin.
What can be engraved?
Names, dates, initials, a monogram, a short message, or one of our motifs. Choose script or block lettering. The front and the back can both be engraved (there is a small charge for the back). Longer messages and ornate designs are possible too; we will confirm the fit and the price with you first.
Can we meet in person?
Yes. We travel with the collection for trunk shows around the country, and we hold private appointments in person and by video. Tell us where you are and we will find a time. Follow @emilyandashley or join our list to see where we will be next.
A few practical things
How long will it take?
Engraved and made-to-order pieces take about three to four weeks. Bespoke pieces take six to eight. Rush production is available for an additional fee; email sales@emilyandashley.com with your date and we will tell you what is possible.
How does payment work?
Made-to-order and custom pieces are paid for before they go into production. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express, along with Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Shop Pay Installments are available at checkout.
Can I change or cancel a custom order?
Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase. After that, a piece has usually gone to the bench. Engraved and custom pieces are made for you and are final sale.
What if it needs a repair later?
Email or call us. If there is an issue with the piece within 30 days of purchase, the repair is on us. After that we will quote the repair and the shipping before any work is done.
